What: Shirt from Temt. Skirt from Portmans. Belt from my mum’s closet. Headband from Diva. Wedges from Rubi Shoes.
Where: Dinner and drinks with my little sister at Darling Harbour. My brother’s songwriter competition.
Why: Sister and I needed some quality time together, so we got all prettied up and enjoyed a tasty dinner and harbour views. She looked lovely in a floaty, ruffly purple dress. I rocked my cream skirt and appreciated the fact that for once, when I wore this skirt, there was no wind to worry me! Marily Monroe moments tend to happen in this skirt. I always make sure I have on nice underwear when it comes out….
My talented little brother is studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (which is SUPER competitive and hard to get into, thus proving how good he is) and is a part time music teacher. He also gigs at a lot of open mic nights and various pubs and hotels around Sydney. Tonight he was in the first round of a songwriter competition and he got into the semis!!! The first person to make it through and was awarded “most creative and original” of the night.
