One of the worst things about living overseas is conducting most of our communication with family and friends via email.
This week emotions have been running high from across the ocean. I’ve been hurt by some emails I’ve received.
I feel misunderstood. Blind sided. Attacked. Criticised. I’m sure others feel the same.
I was already feeling a little vulnerable at the start of the week, desperately missing people from home on my birthday. Then I got some shocking news. Then a friend in Tonga got some bad news too. Then the hurtful email.
I’m wanting things to get sorted because I can’t handle the drama.
A wise thing to remember:
“Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive” – Colossians 3:13
